Bella Beach Hotel

The staff at Bella Beach were all so lovely especially the ladies on reception who went above & beyond booking us various dinner reservations. Less than 10 mins in the taxi will get you into town which was €10 euros each way. Large rooms and pool area. I travelled with my grandmother who had trouble with stairs and would say the hotel is mostly accessible with the exception of one of the ramps leading down to the pool, it’s far too steep for a person who has no trouble walking never mind someone who has mobility issues.

Everything was excellent and far exceeded our expectations: the setting, the private pool, the food, the entertainment – especially the children’s activities run by Dawid, who is truly an exceptional person. This high standard applied to the entire staff: the reception ladies, the waiters, the housekeeping team… all were impeccable, with one single exception – the head chef. From a technical standpoint, his work was flawless: the food was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. However, he would be better off sticking to the technical side, as his behavior lacked courtesy and respect towards guests – or at least towards me. Not only did he ignore greetings and friendly remarks, but his sometimes arrogant attitude caught us off guard on several occasions. The most unfortunate incidents happened on two consecutive evenings: while I was waiting in line for the main course, he served everyone ahead of me, but as soon as my turn came, he skipped me and served the person behind instead. The first time, I overlooked it, but the second was unmistakable. Perhaps he realized it, as he threw me a “Sorry” in a rather condescending tone. Such small but inappropriate gestures unnecessarily dampen the mood of a guest who has traveled for hours seeking rest and peace. Aside from this note, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and congratulate the entire team – except the aforementioned person – for the quality of their service.

We highly recommend the Bella Beach Hotel on the island of Crete. We spent five wonderful days here. Celebrating the fifth anniversary of our relationship, we booked a sea-view room and requested the quietest, most secluded one. The hotel graciously honored our request, and we were given an incredible room where everything was perfect! The hotel is magnificent—spacious, beautifully designed, with stunning terraces and its own well-equipped private beach. The food is exceptional, with the option to dine at an atmospheric Greek or seafood restaurant, available by reservation. The staff is incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming! All of our requests and wishes were met with a smile and genuine willingness to help. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful time we had!

The food at Bella Beach Hotel was another highlight of our stay. The buffet breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, with something to suit every taste. From traditional Greek delicacies like to fresh fruits and yogurts, every morning started on a high note. The lunch was diverse as well. The dinner options were equally impressive, with a mix of international and local dishes prepared by the chefs. The facilities at Bella Beach Hotel are also top-notch. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities, like flat-screen TV, refrigerator, A/C. The pool area is lovely, with sunbeds and umbrellas available for guests to relax. Bella Beach Hotel is a must-stay destination for anyone visiting Greece. Its unbeatable location, delectable cuisine, exceptional service, and fantastic facilities make it truly comfortable and hospitable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway in Greece. The entertainment programe was diverse and covered a broad area of interests, from sport games, like volleyball, water polo, ping pong, to chess, and regular evening performances, such as singing duos or singles, dancing, or contests like bingo, guess the song, etc. with different kinds of prizes. The entertainment team inspires the guests with their dynamic and positive vibes, making the atmosphere engaging and entertaining.
